Climbings impact on me

For my first blog I wanted to talk about why climbing is a massive part of my life and why I love climbing so much. For me climbing is a mixture of technical skill, strength and mental fortitude. Each part helped me improve my life in a different way. For example, mental fortitude helped me massively improve my work ethic by pushing through the pain and the resistance to come out on top. With strength it helped me learn dedication to an activity, repeating it multiple times a week to build something better and stronger.

Climbing also has an amazing social experience. People from all walks of life, any age and any gender come together to climb rock and plastic together. This creates an incredibly accepting environment which fosters improvement and positivity. This is why I’m constantly inviting friends and family to join; I believe it is a great environment for them to start getting healthier and happier. The friends I’ve made there are so unique and friendly which I hope I can keep them around for many years to come.

Hopefully this blog can show you why I’m so passionate about my sport and why I’ll never stop climbing until I die.
